Use MRI TOOL to extract information from the imported MRI data to display EEG topographs and EEG-derived results on 3-D images of your subject's head and brain. This information includes the location of anatomical landmarks on the head, the outer surface of the brain, the inner and outer boundaries of the scalp and skull, and the finite element mesh model needed for DEBLURRING™.
Use MRI TOOL to:
- Extract the subject's head surface for 3-D topographic displays.
- Specify the scalp landmarks you used for positioning
electrodes on the subject's scalp. Other MANSCAN
®modules use these landmarks to precisely align the recorded EEG on the subject's scalp model extracted from the MRI. - Create a 3-D model of your subject's brain.
- Create the anatomical models needed for DEBLURRING™ by specifying the surfaces of the brain, skull and scalp from MRI slices.
