RECORDER

RECORDER is the software module for controlling the MICROAMPS™ data acquisition system. MICROAMPS™ is designed for routine EEG recording applications and long-latency event-related potential studies. It can record 50, 100, or 148 channels of EEG and ancillary information including, bipolar eye movement, EKG, and high-level signals such as from accelerometers. MICROAMPS™ and RECORDER work together to automatically check impedances and adjust gains to reduce hookup time. All data including electrophysiological signals, event marks, subject information and annotations are stored in a well-documented format.

MICROAMPS™ employs 40, 84, or 128 referential amplifier channels for recording EEG and event-related potential data. All EEG channels are recorded to a single reference, typically linked mastoid electrodes. Referential recording provides the maximum flexibility in evaluating EEG by enabling you to reformat your EEG into any montage during review.

RECORDER:

  • Provides software setup and operation of MICROAMPS™, making it easy to collect and store EEG data.
  • Synchronizes the EEG data stream with external stimuli and other events from other computers.
