SIGNAL PROCESSOR

MANSCAN®'s SIGNAL PROCESSOR module contains the major signal processing functions you need to automatically apply complex sequences of signal processing operations to large batches of data. It provides graphical tools that enable you to easily design analysis pipelines containing multiple processes that automatically pass their results to subsequent processes.

You can also specify multiple EEG data files to be processed through your analysis pipeline. SIGNAL PROCESSOR is optimized to automatically and quickly process large amounts of data.


SIGNAL PROCESSOR contains functions that allow you to:

  • Re-reference your data, using either monopolar or bipolar references.
  • Automatically detect and label different types of artifact contaminants in the data.
  • Perform spatial enhancement including spatial filtering, Current Source Density (Laplacian) estimation, and DEBLURRING™.
  • Remove offsets and normalize your data.
  • Filter data in the temporal domain.
  • Compute power spectra.
  • Generate epoched data from continuous data.
  • Average data to produce event-related potentials or compute grand averages of ERP data or power spectra.
