STRIPCHART is MANSCAN®'s paperless
EEG data display and editing module. STRIPCHART gives you the ability
to quickly scroll through and review your raw EEG data and mark events
and artifacts within the data. You can view many channels at once with
a compressed time scale to get a quick overview of your data, or you can
view only a few channels with expanded time and amplitude scales to closely
examine specific features in the EEG data.
One of the most important features of STRIPCHART
is its flexibility in allowing you to mark segments of data that contain
artifacts, from entire montages down to individual channels. Marked artifacts
can be excluded from later analyses. It also allows you to annotate the
data, and to add event markers that other MANSCAN® programs
use to pick out specific data segments for analysis.
Using STRIPCHART, you can:
- Reformat a data trace display with the number of channels, time base and filter settings that you need to evaluate the data.
- Re-reference and display data in other montages.
- Filter data to enhance specific activity.
- Automatically detect and label artifacts in the EEG data.
- Change channel names.
- Modify the "chart speed" and sensitivity to narrow in on features of interest, or to view a large section of the data at once.
- Transform the EEG into power spectra.
- Export subsections of the raw data to concentrate the most interesting signal segments into smaller, more easily managed files.
- Use simple tools for marking events and artifacts.
